Battle of the Bands
Rules for Battle of the Band Professional
- Each group will have 10 min. too set up.
- Each group will have 25 minutes too perform.
- Each group will have 10 minutes too tare down.
- Each group will be judged by (3) Judges with musical backgrounds
- Each group will be judged on their Stage Presence, Audience Appeal, Showmanship, and Overall Value on a scale of 1-10.
- All musical selections must refrain from using profanity and must be appropriate for the family audience.
- The highest 2 averaged scores will be awarded prizes. (see website)
- The highest averaged score will be aired on B94. Demo must be an original from the winning Band, good quality, and of clean content.
Rules for Battle of the Band Amateur
- Must have never had a paid gig.
- Each group will have 10 min. too set up.
- Each group will have 15 minutes too perform.
- Each group will have 10 minutes too tare down.
- Each group will be judged by (3) Judges with musical backgrounds
- Each group will be judged on their Stage Presence, Audience Appeal, Showmanship, Skill Level and Overall Value on a scale of 1-5.
- All musical selections must refrain from using profanity and must be appropriate for the family audience.
- The highest 3 averaged scores will be awarded prizes. (see website)
- The highest averaged score will be aired on B94. Demo must be an original from the winning Band, good quality, and of clean content.
If there is not more than 4 Bands playing in either category: prizes will be limited to first place in the professional division and first and second places in the Amateur division.
Prize amounts will be determined prior and available at B94 the third week in July week.
Professional division will begin at 1:00pm and the Amateur division will begin at 4:00pm.
